The purpose of this blog is to discuss West Virginia University sports. An emphasis will be on Football and Basketball.
Related topics will include BIG 12 issues, the NCAA polls, and any related issues which will impact WVU sports. I wish to offer this page to you the reader for comment and look forward to debating my posts.
In my humble opinion WVU just needs to win at Cincinnati. The only thing that is important right now is winning there. Then winning the Big East. And if we get to the MNC game then that is gravy. Every time I start looking ahead I get disappointed.
This season will present opportunities to our beloved Eers. They just need to make sure and do their part. I for one believe we are going to blow Cincy out though.
We need only execute our regular offense and let our defense do what they have been doing and everything will take care of itself. I think that Cincy is a good team. I think WVU is a great team.
The casual observer may think that the Bear Kitties will be more loose because they are the underdog. Well that is one thought the other one is that they feel the pressure of both WVU and winning the Big East. I expect that they will give us a great shot but I also expect us to return that intensity with execution.
Passing spread vs Running spread. Something has to give. I like our defense in this situation. Anyway, I am glad that Oregon lost but I am going to try (I am human after all) to limit my focus on the task at hand. That is the bear kitties.

WVU really needs to blow out Cincinnati to ensure they don't get passed in the last few weeks and keep themselves in the hunt in case LSU loses.
