Who is the best Big East Coach and why?

I am standing by Rod in this debate but I would love to entertain your thoughts.

Other than Robinson and Wann-stain, they're all pretty good. Obviously Rod is at the top. Just look at the offers coming his way. Don't be surprised if LSU comes calling if Michigan makes the giant blunder of hiring him.

Dear ole Dave is certainly a terrible coach. I think the jury is still not completely in on Robinson. He probably isn't as terrible as Syracuse is, but at this point, I don't think he's going to be able to recruit unless he develops a nitch to create some success w/ lesser players. I also think Schiano is slightly overrated. He's having success where it's next to impossible to have success, but he's not going to turn rutgers into a perennial contender like everyone has been assuming. His team is .500 at best without Rice. Joe Tresey has done an amazing job keeping Cincinnati on the way up but we shall have to wait and see if he can continue with his own players. Kragthorpe is a joke who could potentially turn Louisville into the next Pitt. Leavitt has been pretty amazing at building his program but he obviously couldn't have done that located somewhere else in the country. Still, surpassing two of the biggies in the state of Florida should make their future bright. Edsell has been named as a semifinalist for a couple National Coach of the Year awards but I'll hold judgement until I see how his bowl game turns out. I don't think UConn is gonna take home the Big East but he's had a fine year and if he can finish it off with a bowl win, he deserves some accolades. I'm very pleased with how Coach Rod has performed. The defensive performance this year compared to last is quite astounding. My only disappointment is that we haven't seen an upgrade to the passing game this year as far as # of plays called. White has been excellent overall as a passer and it would be nice to see him get more shots past 5 yards downfield. Anywho, that's how I see 'em.
