WVU gets a hard-nosed corner-back in Da'Quan Davis. He measures at 5'll" and 172 lbs. He runs the 40 in a 4.5., and shuttle in 4.1. He hails from Towson, Maryland.
Always an important position to fill, the CB becomes a man on an island. Da'Quan will have high expectations placed upon him in the 3 3 5 to produce. This position is usually a thin one at WVU so I am excited that he has decided to come ball at WVU. He had an offer from Marshall as well. It looked like he was about to get offered from South Carolina, Maryland, and Virginia. WVU was the first to make an offer and it appears that that was the clincher. Def Coordinator Jeff Casteele was primary recruiter.
This momentum is something to talk about now. Both Offense and Defense is being addressed in the 2012 class.
Welcome to Eer family Da'Quan.
