Well to say I am sad is an understatement. But I also want to wish him all the best. He has given me some outstanding memories.
A personal thank you to Steve: Thanks for being a class act and thanks for getting the job done. Your performance in the Sugar Bowl will never be forgotten. It has been a very special time for each of your mountaineer family to have watched you perform Steve. You and your family has blessed this university for the entire time you have been here. I for one will be following your career in the NFL.

While I agree with your sentiments, I think he's making a HUGE mistake. Yes, it's a payday but I see him returning kicks for a couple of years and struggling to make the team for a couple more. That money won't last long!
It may be viewed as a mistake in the regard that he'll be returning kicks a couple years and so on, but that would be a likely future for him even if he did return for his senior year. The area that makes it seem illogical is that there are probably going to be more running backs taken ahead of him in this draft than there would be next year. Yahoo's mock draft has Steve going to the Seahawks in the low 20's of the 1st round. A team like Seattle who could utilize his receiving skills might be a good fit. I respect Super Steve and wish him the best and thank him for his character and leadership while he was at WVU. However, this is probably a good thing in the greater scheme of things in my opinion. It's important for Devine to shine this year. Not only for his state of mind but for recruiting as well.
