I was ask by one of the volunteers, Thomas Kugel, who is trying to get this up and running to post this information about the Legacy 1000 Club. Its primary concern is becoming a fundraising engine for the WVU Basketball team. Much like the 11oo club was for the football team. The goal of the organization is to get 1000 $1000.00 pledges for the MAC for donations used to construct the WVU Basketball practice facility. This club is hosting a Raffle this year called Hot Summer Night Huggsfest: Tickets are $100.00 per ticket and the event will be held at the Charleston Marriott. You must either be a member of the club or a guest of a member of the club to participate in the function. If at least 600 tickets are sold the winner of the raffle will get either a Porshe Boxter or Cayman or His and Hers Subarus or $35,000.00.
