What a difference a couple of months make! West Virginia has re-arrived in the National Polls: The AP has WVU at 20, the Coaches Poll has WVU at 23, The Harris Poll has WVU at 22 and The BCS Poll has WVU at 25.(The computer polls have not been convinced yet they account for the other 1/3 of the BCS; which is comprised of the Coaches Poll, the Harris Poll and the Average of the Puter Polls at 1/3 each.) It will be nice being guaranteed at least one week of getting to see ourselves on ESPN bottom line.
More importantly we are still alone atop the Big East Standings. WVU faces Cincy this weekend then Louisville and sPitt wins over all 3 send WVU to a BCS Bowl. Any losses and tie breakers will have to be used.
West Virginia 3-0 (Heads up tie breaker over UConn, Rutgers, Cuse)
Cincinnati 2-1 (Loss to UConn)
sPitt 2-1 (Loss to Rutgers)
Rutgers 2-2 (Loss to WVU and Cincy)
UConn 2-2 (Losses to Rutgers and WVU)
Louisville 1-2 (Losses to UConn and Cuse)
South Florida 1-3 (Losses to sPitt, Ville and Cincy)
Syracuse 1-3 (Losses to sPitt, WVU, and USF)

That was a very short return to the top 25.
