The purpose of this blog is to discuss West Virginia University sports. An emphasis will be on Football and Basketball.
Related topics will include BIG 12 issues, the NCAA polls, and any related issues which will impact WVU sports. I wish to offer this page to you the reader for comment and look forward to debating my posts.

It's a good article but: blah blah blah, whaaaah. I certainly don't feel sorry for Dick Rod. People have criticized WVU for feeling angry when we supposedly did the same thing to K-state a year ago. I believe it's a completely different situation. While the loss of Belein was disappointing at the time, that and the hiring of Huggins do not compare to the betrayal by Dick Rod. I can't imagine one other Div I head coach who is coaching at his alma mater who would leave for another college job. As we all grew up in WV, I'm confident that all of us would consider coaching WVU our dream job. And the fact that Dick Rod doesn't feel that way rightfully feels like betrayal.
