Tony Caridi reports on his Twitter page that Tivita Finau to come to campus.

He is apparently going to arrive this weekend. Tis good news. We have as Mountaineer fans been watching this story for what seems like a decade. Now it appears that the clearing house issues are being resolved so we will have our JUCO edge rusher in uniform this year. Welcome aboard finally!!!

Bridgeport High Star, Wes Tonkery, commits to WVU after his participation in the Gold Rush Camps. While there he impressed the coaching staff with his consistent 40 times. He ran a 4.53. He also flat foot broad jumped a whopping 9-feet, 8 1/2-inches. He is 6'1" and 175 pounds. He claimed that this offer was a dream come true. West Virginia was his first offer and only consideration. Coaches Caravan arives in Randolph County...

Got to hear from several notables but the show stopper for shore was Coach Huggins. What can I say he blew me away. He was talking about how, "it looks like we have a chance." He said to us all that it isn't if we are going to win a national title but when. He spoke of the tour bus he was going to use to take the national championship trophy to all parts of the state. He simply was Huggs. We are blessed with this coach. From floor general to comedian to champion of the State it is simply great to be in his presence. I had a great time.

    Twitter

As uncool as twittering sounds to me, I think its going to become a must read for Mountaineer fans. I recently read a post from the Big East blogger Brian Bennet on ESPN that followed the coaches Twitter pages. Bill Stewart by far is the most followed. So, I thought I might want to check it out to see what good 'ole Coach Stew is up to.

It turns out coach plays a lot of golf and tours the state with promotional appearances. He talks about working events with coach Huggins and he includes a few good tidbits like the following:
